Brachyglottis can be evergreen shrubs, climbers or herbaceous perennials, with simple leaves often white or buff-felted beneath, and clusters of daisy-like flower-heads in summer and autumn. 'Sunshine' is a small, spreading evergreen shrub with greyish, ovate leaves to 8cm in length, white-felted beneath like the flower stalks. Bright yellow flowers 2.5cm in width form in loose clusters.
