Pinus can be shrubs or large, evergreen trees, with attractive bark and bearing bundles of long needle-like leaves. Large cones may fall or remain on the tree for years. An elegant, dwarf pine, ‘Marie Bregeon’ has a naturally mounded shape that does not require any pruning to maintain. Its dense and compact habit has a slow grow rate of only 5-9cm annually. Ideal as a small specimen in the rockery, or in a large container on the patio. Requires full sun and well-drained soil.
