Cytisus can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs, ranging in habit from prostrate. Small, simple foliage provides a lush background to pea-like flowers that blossom in the spring and summer. ‘Golden Tears’ is an upright shrub with slender, weeping stems that bear dark green leaves and clusters of highly scented golden flowers. Plant in any well-drained soil in a fully sunny location.
